And of course, thank him for all the hard work he has put in over the years. Work such as carrying out maintenance, realising projects in collaboration with colleagues and researching and repairing products and systems.

After an interim audit, we have successfully retained our VCA** certificate. The auditor was very pleased with the involvement and safety awareness of all employees.

At Infratech, we are very happy with the result and the confirmation that the organisation is rock solid! Because safety… you can always make better and that is what matters! 😉

On the 23^rd of November, Patrick and Sander visited Frontline Security Solutions Ltd in England. Infratech’s visit to Frontline was not only an opportunity to exchange expertise, but also to work on further future cooperation. This close interaction allows both companies to benefit from each other’s strengths with the aim of serving more potential future customers throughout Europe with technological security systems.

We recently passed the re-certification of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. These certifications guarantee quality management and information security. The audit was carried out by 2 external auditors from Kiwa, which examined whether all aspects of both standards are implemented as described in the policy.

Quality and information security have always been important factors in our working method. For example, every employee has the task to report if something can be done more customer-friendly or better. And together with the team, we constantly ensure that data is processed and shared in a secure manner, so that we always comply with the ISO 27001 standard. It’s wonderful that our efforts have been rewarded with this successful re-certification. Hurray, hurray, hurray! 🎉🎉🎉

Last week Infratech had the privilege to share in a special occasion with our business partner Almatec. Over the past 10 years, Infratech have been collaborating with Almatec in the field of racks in FTTH homes and street cabinets for the telecom market.

On Wednesday 6^th September 2023, Infratech proudly raised a glass to celebrate Almatec’s 40^th anniversary. As a token of appreciation, we gifted the Swiss company an old-fashioned suitcase filled with traditional Dutch sweets.

Six of our colleagues have successfully completed the technical training of Brivo today, which means that we can call ourselves a certified Brivo dealer!

At the FireSafety & Security Event 2023 we received the 2N Certified Installer certificate from 2N. This makes us the first official certified 2N Installer.

The certificate was, of course, not issued just like that. We have successfully completed the Certified Installer Program (CIP) and with more than 15 years of experience we have all the knowledge of the 2N products. We also have a lot of experience in integrating the 2N intercom systems with other access control systems, such as Genetec, C.CURE 9000, LenelS2, Brivo and, of course, 2N Access Commander.

To be able to provide our service and maintenance faster and more effectively for our customers in Belgium and Luxembourg, we now also operate out of Temse in Belgium. All service requests will still be coordinated from our Network Operations Center (NOC) in Zwaag.

After a period of preparation, under the excellent guidance of BTCONSUL, followed by a number of audits, we are now VCA** certified. The VCA** certificate shows that our organisation meets current requirements in the field of health, safety and environment. And we are proud of that!

Unfortunately, there are still short-term and often unexpected power outages in the Netherlands. These also affect the street cabinets of our customers, which often contain equipment for multiple telecom providers. So, without power, multiple households and companies are no longer connected to the internet for an unknown period of time. With all its consequences. To provide our customers’ street cabinets with emergency power as quickly as possible, we have converted small trailers and equipped them with emergency power supplies. These trailers are strategically placed throughout the Netherlands. If needed, our engineers can quickly collect one and drive to the street cabinet.

After 25 years, it was time for a new logo and that also includes a new fresh look. And how beautiful it has become! The building was painted by J.M.G. Schilderwerken and the new advertising was provided by Signalo. Thank you very much, we are very happy with it!

Infratech celebrates its 25^th anniversary this year! And that is of course a reason for a party! And not just any party, no… a wonderful weekend to the beautiful island Texel. We caught shrimp with the Kotter, had a tour and tasting at Stokerij Texel and on the last day, a beautiful walk through the largest nature reserve on Texel: the Slufter.

And of course, the director of Infratech was put in the spotlight by all the employees. Thank you for these wonderful 25 years! Now on to the next 25 years!

For 25 years, we have worked to realise wonderful and challenging projects in the field of security, telecom, infrastructures and power solutions, together with our customers, relations and colleagues. And of course, we couldn’t just let our 25^th anniversary pass by like that. In honour of this milestone, we asked Ipsis to design a new company logo and website. Infratech has installed 2N Access Control for all Felyx (an ambitious company for sustainable and shared urban transport) locations. Access control with an access card or even with Bluetooth via a smartphone. The access control has a protected IP network connection and all functions are centrally managed at Felyx’s head office in Amsterdam.

In co-operation with PBT Beveiliging en Telecom B.V., Infratech has just successfully completed the installation of LenelS2 Access Control and Video Surveillance system at an international logistics carrier. The project has recently been completed. To celebrate the successful co-operation, we brought a delicious cake during the debriefing yesterday!

We as a team are very satisfied with the pleasant, mutual co-operation and the great end result.

We are so proud of our Gert from GB-Tech 65! He participated in Alpe d’HuZes with his brother. They went up the mountain 6 times in total. As a result, they have raised a lot of money for cancer research.

We start the week with a nice assignment from an existing customer who is active in the petrochemical industry.

Infratech will soon start modernizing the current security systems on behalf of the customer. This brings the security level of this location back to the desired level.

The work includes upgrading the Software House Access Control + Event Management C.Cure Access Control system, the camera system and modernizing the intercom system.

Last month, all our engineers and project managers renewed the coveted certificates for Basic Employee Air Freight via PMT Aviation. Renewing these certificates is of great importance to us. This allows us to continue to carry out electronic security projects in and around the customs area of ​​Schiphol.

The installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems and evacuation systems is not unknown territory for us. For these services, Hertek has been our reliable supplier for over 20 years. To confirm the collaboration after so many years, Infratech has become an Official Partner as of May 3^rd, 2021. In addition to developing and supplying innovative products, both parties combine their knowledge and experience to serve our customers to a satisfactory level.

The year 2021 has only just begun and we already have some exciting news to report!

We are excited to announce that Infratech teamed up with LenelS2. Infratech will become the second VAR in the Netherlands that offers the full range of security products from S2. By adding S2’s security products to our security portfolio, we are able to offer an even wider range of security products to our customers.

After months of hard work and excellent guidance from Molenaar & Plasman Solutions, we have obtained the certificates. These certifications confirm that matters relating to information security and quality management are properly set up and managed in our organisation. The certifications are issued by the global certification company Kiwa.

ISO 9001: Quality Management System
ISO 9001 is the world’s best-known quality control standard. The aim of the Quality Management System is to continuously improve as a company, with the result: happy customers. Processes and structures become clear to the entire organisation. In summary, it comes down to this:

• Say what you are doing
• Do what you say
• Prove it

Information is becoming increasingly valuable. The availability of customer data, production data and other data is extremely important for our business operations. Certainly, after the advent of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), securing information is high on our agenda. As a company, we have noticed that more and more clients are enquiring after the ISO 27001 and therefore, under the guidance of Molenaar & Plasman Solutions, we recently started to become ISO 27001 certified. The ISO 27001 certificate will be significantly beneficial for us and confirm to our clients that we will treat their confidential information properly.

We have been working for years under the ISO 9001 quality standard and we always do our utmost to satisfy our clients’ needs. That is why we are simultaneously starting the process of becoming ISO 9001 certified.

After the summer of 2020, we expect to be ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified.

Our expertise and service has now arrived in Luxembourg.

In Luxembourg we installed an intruder alarm system from Honeywell and an access control system from Lenel for two international companies. It is beneficial for our customers to have both of these systems installed by Infratech, because than the customer has only one point of contact. We provide services in the Benelux, Europe and beyond.

We are proud to announce that we are NEN 3140 certified!

All electrical equipment such as drills, angle grinders, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, blow dryers, soldering irons, reels, cutting machines, coffee machines, basically all devices with an electrical power plug, both 230 volts and 400 volts, must be inspected every year according to NEN 3140. Two of our employees have successfully completed the training and this is why we can now carry out the inspections of all our electrical devices and portable climbing equipment ourselves.

We have recently entered into a partnership with the Westfriese Bedrijvengroep (WBG) to jointly anticipate the arrival of data centers on Agriport A7. With nearly 1000 members, the WBG can call itself the largest network in the region!

We are delighted with the arrival of the data centers and we want to help build and maintain the data centers, where possible. To prepare us well, the WBG has created a committee. This committee will enter into discussions with the data center companies to see whether there are local companies that can carry out the requested work. In addition, we also want to facilitate matters such as housing in consultation with councils and the Province of Noord-Holland. Together we hope that things will turn out to be more advantageous for the data center companies.

Big enough to cope and small enough to care!

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will apply as of 25 May 2018. This means that all companies are obliged to take measures for the processing and securing of personal data. As a result, Infratech Groep B.V. and its underlying companies drafted a Privacy Statement, which will soon be sent to all our clients.

In the context of security, we have also decided to secure both our e-mail traffic and websites with TPS/SSL encryption. The familiar lock with “Safe” indicates that you have actually landed on our secure website.
